Tennis anyone? The Longboat Key Public Tennis Center has a weekly schedule for those wishing to participate in tennis on Longboat Key. Open play times include morning sessions at 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. and afternoon sessions at 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Round Robins daily at 3:30 p.m. with the Ladies on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and for the Men you have Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with mixed on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Special Events included Who’s B.O.B. Men’s tournament on Tuesday at 1: 30 p.m. and Who’s the B.O.S.S. Men’s tournament on Friday at 1:30 p.m. For reservations pass holders will need a 3 day advance reservation and walk-ons will need a 1 day reservation. User Pass fees are as follows: Family $750

Enjoying your spring break on the Siesta Beach taking in the weather which has been sunny and 85 daily. Now its time to join the fun and participate in one of the many St. Patrick’s Day events in and around Sarasota, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Manasota Key, Casey Key and all of Sarasota in between.

1. The Shamrock Pub, downtown Sarasota, will host its 4th annual block party from 9 a.m. until Midnight. Live music and dancing with the corned beef and cabbage provided by Libby’s Restaurant of Southside Village. This even is free.
