South Lido Park is located on Ben Franklin Drive at the southern tip of Lido Key. The South Lido Park is surrounded by four bodies of water; The Gulf of Mexico, Big Pass, Sarasota Bay, and Brushy Bayou.  From the South Lido Park views of Sarasota’s downtown skyline can be had, especially the night time the Sarasota skyline is brilliant from the South Lido Park.  At the park you will find a picnic area shaded by Australian Pines.  At a separate facility at the north end of the park, visitors can enjoy a nature trail which includes scenic overlooks and boardwalks.  This is a great spot to land your kayak and explore the waters surrounding Lido Key.

  • free parking
  • rest rooms
  • picnic tables
