suncoast_boat_show_at_marina_jacks_560The 30th Annual Suncoast Boat Show is this weekend, April 20-22, at Marina Jack on the bayfront of Sarasota.  The Suncoast Boat Show features a large selection of boats, including power boats, sail boats, sportfish boats, convertibles, yacht fish, and motor yachts.  The Gulf Coast’s boat dealers will display hundred of boats on the bayfront at Marina Jack.  Sarasota is one of the Gulf Coast’s premier boating destinations.  This is a great place to try out the boats, comparing boats and prices, usually no better time to negotiate your best deal than at the boat show.

Sarasota is receiving the floating art museum, the SeaFair.  The one and only of its kind the SeaFair was designed and built for that reason only.  The SeaFair which is visiting Sarasota waters this weekend stands 5 stories tall, is 228 feet in length, cost $40 million to build, weighs 2800 international tons.  The entry level deck features a formal entry with ten individual exhibit spaces and a coffee bar.  The second deck features twelve exhibition spaces and the Luxe Lounge, an open air champagne and caviar lounge on the aft deck.  The third deck features six exhibit spaces and a Sapore’, a formal glass-walled restaurant.  The Sky Deck has the Bistro 360, an informal open air restaurant, and Bar 360 its cocktail reception area.
