Sarasota is receiving the floating art museum, the SeaFair.  The one and only of its kind the SeaFair was designed and built for that reason only.  The SeaFair which is visiting Sarasota waters this weekend stands 5 stories tall, is 228 feet in length, cost $40 million to build, weighs 2800 international tons.  The entry level deck features a formal entry with ten individual exhibit spaces and a coffee bar.  The second deck features twelve exhibition spaces and the Luxe Lounge, an open air champagne and caviar lounge on the aft deck.  The third deck features six exhibit spaces and a Sapore’, a formal glass-walled restaurant.  The Sky Deck has the Bistro 360, an informal open air restaurant, and Bar 360 its cocktail reception area.

The SeaFair will be docking at Marina Jacks for the second time.  This will be the 2nd annual Art Sarasota - aboard Ameria’s Megayahct Venue.  This is a presentation of 28 galleries offering paintings, sculpture, photography, design and fine art glass.  There are special exhibitions and receptions offered along with cocktail parties and music on the Sky Deck.

Don’t miss this downtown Sarasota Art Event, even if you don’t plan to get on the boat stop by Marina Jacks just to see how awesome this boat appears when standing next to it.
